I do do my own yorkshires but wanted to have the frozen aunt bessies for times when I just need them right then and there! I do bring the pud mix over in my suitcase. Also like the aunt bessies giant yorkies too, and yes can make them but again its the convience, as is the stuffing mix balls aunt bessie does.

Can help with the roast potatoes though. buy either canadian potatoes, or Yukon,,,don't get IDAO they are spuds but not as us brits know em

Your right once par boiled drain em and shake em around in the pan, then put into roasting dish full of hot oil (cant find duck fat here, and dare not carry that across here) baste them and your there.

Took me a long time to get the cuts of meat right here for the sunday roast, I ask for a beef roast and thats just like a joint of beef like silverside or topside.

I don't know if they ship them or not. Also, I have bought them before at JungleJims. Which is a local to Cincinnati international market, but you might give them a call and see if they do phone orders? I don't remember how much they cost, but they have them pretty much everytime I go.

I always make my own yorkies. They rise brilliantly and are a great source of amusement with American friends who haven't had them before. The last batch of friends that we had over for dinner, when I cooked a roast, saw the yorkies and then looked up to see what my husband and I would do with them.

Does anyone have or know of any "lite" yorkshire pudding recipes? I've looked around but unfortunatly haven't come across one yet. I could use egg substitute for the eggs, but I'm at my wits end thinking what to sub for the beef drippings. :help:

Awwwwwwwwwww, you're lucky! I've talked to him on the phone about orders I've placed and he's just delightful. I wish we lived close to there.
