My wife has to apply in September to get her new green card with no restrictions. We were planing on flying out to Guatemala for Christmas. If she does not get her new card in the mail befor we leave and when we come back her green card will be out of date can we still go or do i need to talk to some one. If so who do i call for that, thanks everyone

Your NOA1 for the I-751 is also a one year extension of your Green Card. If you plan to send the package off in September and will not be leaving until December you *should* receive the NOA before you left. Never know what may happen with processing times by then however...but don't leave the country with out the NOA and you will be just fine!

Or if you office does it get the I-551 stamp in her passport.
