Ok. I am still waiting for an answer on my AOS and I need to renew my EAD. Yes I've read the guides I'm just double checking:

1. The documentation is:

a. Form I-765

b. Fee - for renewal EAD it says that (a)(8), (a)(10), (a) (11), (c )(1), (c )(4) or (c )(7) don't pay a fee, since I'm (c )(9) I have to send a check for $ 340.00, correct?

c. copy form I-94 front and back

d. copy last EAD document (front and back)

e. 2 photographs (identical, color, etc etc)

2. Question 15 - Current Immigration Status - K1 visa holder?

3. Question 16. Is it (c )(9)?

4. I have to send the documentation to:

USCIS

P.O. Box 805887

Chicago, IL 60680-4120, correct?

Forum search is not working, btw.

Thanks

(1) Yes, you'll have to have your biometrics taken again.

(2) I think that e-filing is quicker in that you get a receipt date faster and can pay for it online with a credit card, but I found the e-file form confusing. It may have been updated since I had a look at it a couple of months ago. I started a thread about my confusion: Attempting to e-file for EAD renewal. Also, you still have to submit passport photos and other paperwork through the mail, so I thought it was easier just to file the paper forms. I'm sure other people will have a different opinion, though.

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

The check needs to be made out to US Department of Homeland Security

verbiage from the filing instructions:

NOTE: Please spell out U.S. Department of Homeland Security; do not use the initials "USDHS" or "DHS."
