Hello,

Our I-130 was just completed at the NVC. The question I have is does the NVC schedule the interview for Lima, Peru? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes they do, more info here:

Just choose Lima from the drop down menu provided.

Yes they do, more info here:

Mine completed yesterday too! and i had the same questions!!!

Magay, looks like we may even get a same interview date in peru!!! hahahaha

Hey Martin,

From what I read, I looks like the interview gets scheduled 1 month after the embassy receives the packet from NVC. I keep calling everyday to find out when it has been transfered, then I will call the embassy to make sure. What kind of visa did you receive? ours was a cr1. Thanks.

From what I read, I looks like the interview gets scheduled 1 month after the embassy receives the packet from NVC. I keep calling everyday to find out when it has been transfered, then I will call the embassy to make sure. What kind of visa did you receive? ours was a cr1. Thanks.

The embassy does not schedule the interview. THE NVC will scedule the interview 2 to 4 weeks after case is closed. Then they send the case to Lima. From what i have been told if by end of next week we You and I dont have an interview date then we will have to wait until the first 2 weeks in Febraury, Whichmeans the interview may be in MArch. I am really hoping i get it next week.

I am a USC and i married my wife in Peru, and i filed the 1-130 so i guess i am cr1???? I did not do the k3 or any of that.

I started my process in April 24 2007

I just called the NVC and they have scheduled the interview for February. Good Luck to everybody.

I will call MOnday, Hopefully, i get some news!!
