My I-130 checklist

OK, I FINALLY have my I-130 ready to go tomorrow but just wanted to run it by everybody before I take it to the P.O..

I am including the following:

Personal check for $355 made out to Department of Homeland Security

Completed I-130

Marriage Certificate

Evidence: Email copies(3), chat log, photos of wedding, engagement and family (14), mail receipts(3), copy of form designating G as life insurance beneficiary, copy of Arya Samaj initiation certificate(certifies that I am 'officially' a Hindu),full copy of my US passport showing visits to Nepal in '06 and '07

G-325A for me(all 4 pages), including copy of birth certificate, certified copy of name change court order, notarized affidavit explaining why name on passport/marriage certificate is birth name and not new legal name(I pray pray pray that this will not be a problem, if it is then we are really SOL), passport style photo

G-325A for Govinda(all 4 pages), including passport-style photo(smaller than US size, again I hope this will not be a problem, it has not been for others I think)

I am sending it to the Chicago lockbox- address USCIS, P.O. Box 804616, Chicago IL 60680, by USPS Express Mail with signature receipt.

Anything I left out?

I can't think of anything else, looks good. Are you sending a cover sheet as well? Did your write your names in pencil on the back of the photos?

Really, it looks like you have it covered - when are you going to file?

Yep, forgot to mention the cover letter.I wrote our names on the back of each photo(my name on mine, his on his) with fine-tip Sharpie(instructions said either pencil or felt-tip pen) - also wrote our names on the ziploc bags each photo is in.

Hopefully I will be filing TOMORROW!!!! It's about dayum time!!!!!!
