Hi...I live in WA state. How do I find out which USICS office is giong to handling my case? PS..Sorry I am Sept 08 filer. Reading this thread got me curious about my (potential) wait time.

Go Here for USCIS field offices.

If your office is Seattle, they are currently taking about 9-10 months from date of receipt to interview.

I also received my SEATTLE interview letter today!! The appointment date is October 17th.

Haze, what time is your IL? We have the same date!

AOS Approved on 10-17-08 (details in profile)

Removal of Conditions on 07-19-10

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.

Interview time is 8:00 AM. I wonder if I'll be the first interview of the day.

alas, the much awaited green card is here. valid for 10 years.

best wishes and good luck to the rest of you out there. the AOS process was exactly 9 months long for us including SSN, work permit, and greencard. in retrospect not so bad, however, seemed like ages while we waited.

Interview today went well. Approved - pending review. Hope it's a swift review.

How did everyone else fare in Seattle today?

My Seattle interview also went well. I was also "Approved - Pending Review". Why were we told we are pending review. Is this normal procedure? It seems like most people in Seattle were just told they were approved and to expect the Welcome Letter. :clock:

Our assumption was that our interviewing officer, who was very nice, was a junior officer - he was young.

I'm wondering if USCIS reviews all cases on newer officers for a time to ensure that they are following procedure?

Anyway, we're hopeful that it's just a short delay to the process.

The lady who interviewed me told me it would be reviewed either Friday or Monday. She said we should receive a letter sometime next week. I wonder if they will finally update online after approval. Haven't been touched since Bio appt.

Hi Seattleites Interviewees,

The interview went well, I guess.

She said she would mail the decision by mail. The interviewer was young and with a strong accent, it took me few minutes to get used to it.

She took my I-94, is that a good or bad sign? I just felt we didn't have a chance to prove we were a true couple. She barely asked any personal questions: "How did you meet? How did you decide to get married? Are you planning on having kids? Are you planning on a bigger wedding ceremony?" That was it...the rest were paperwork related.

We were way over prepared compared to everyone else in the waiting room. We had three boxes while everyone barely had a folder.

Visonhaze, was the lady who interviewed you young?

I guess the hard part is all behind us, now the waiting begins.

I think she was around 30. She did have an accent, I believe she was originally from India. My interview was the same as yours, a few personal questions but mostly paperwork related. They did not take the I-94 from me, but I know I have given them copies.

Did they take your I-94 cdn_in_wa?

They didn't take my I-94, or my A/P. I don't have EAD, so they couldn't take that!

Took every copy of every document I offered to establish co-mingling of assets/finances.

We were told we'd probably get the GC within a month. I'm still hoping it's less time.

The interview was completely painless, but we were very prepared will every document we could think of, plus copies of everything, too. (I had a tote bag with about 2" of paper in it)

Here's hoping the review goes quickly for everyone!
