January 08 filers

My husband (US Citizen) and I filed last January 28, 2008. The last update i saw online is that they sent me a mail on April 18, 2008 for my fingerprints and biometrics. Those were done on July 1, 2008 and until now no updates have been done yet.

We're in Las Vegas. Any January filers who haven't gotten their interview date?

I also live in Las Vegas, my wife and stepdaughter had their interviews at the local office on Aug. 4th, and had their green cards less than 2 weeks after that. We filed in mid January.

^ I just called USCIS customer service and told me that LV district office is now working on petitions filed on November 17, 2007. Mine was filed on January 2008.

I'm afraid there are mails that i didn't receive since we've been having problems with the mails in our neighborhood. What should i do?

Schedule an Infopass and double check! Do not call the misinformation line!

Welcome letter in the mail today...YAHHHH thanks to everyone for putting up with me, and for those not seeing anything online in the case status mine is still not updated, so don't be discouraged.

so how long does it take to get the green card after appoval? this is the 3rd week since the approval and interview. we have no notification or sign of it.

Not sure..... we had our interview same as you 28th so almost 3 weeks till we got the welcome letter... did you get a welcome letter? or were you told at the interview approved?

we were just told verbally at the interview that we were approved. the officer took our I-94's as well.

we received welcome letter yesterday the 16th and today a email card production ordered...

Yes we filed a I-130 as well and we received a letter saying it was approved same day as welcome letter.

good news! the kids got an email notification today from CRIS that their greencard production was ordered yesterday. my case is not on line but I know that it's processing with them. it said to allow 30 days for the card to be recd. hope it's sooner, i'd like to go to canada for thanksgiving...

Hi...I live in WA state. How do I find out which USICS office is giong to handling my case? PS..Sorry I am Sept 08 filer. Reading this thread got me curious about my (potential) wait time.
