Received mine for Sept 9. YAY! Now I know the process is moving

Interviews this morning for my wife and stepdaughter. Green cards are on their WAY :dance: :dance:

We were with the immigration officer for about a hour. I brought the usual pieces of evidence ( my wife being 6 month's pregnant didn't hurt either ! ),and he copied all of it. The file for my wife is now about 2 inches thick ! We're good now until May of 201o !!

YES FINALLY, received an email that my card is being produced and my welcome package should be coming. They say 30 days for the card, does anyone know if it really is 30 days or is it less?? My wedding in canada is sept 6 and we're leaving aug 27 so i just want to know if i'll get it in time or should i postpone the wedding til next year?

Green card was approved for Erika this morning. The interview was cake. We brought all the stuff requested on the interview letter, but all the guy asked for was our '07 taxes and to see pictures. They had all the information in their folder. So all the stuff we brought wasn't even requested! Very easy! 10-15 minutes max!

Yesterday our case was updated with 'Card production ordered.' I'm assuming that means we got approved with no interview. I hope at least, I want to be done with USCIS for a while!

Okay so had our interview today. I had all the copies and originals of everything they asked for. They took us in, asked to take an oath for speaking the truth and nothing but, verified name, address, date and place of birth, parents' names. that's it! you're approved! didn't ask for any proof of anything, no further discussions. will recieve a 10 year greencard in 3 weeks.

it took 7-8 minutes tops.

hope the rest of you have a similar experience.
