hey guys! i received yesterday an email that my card for work was ordered... so i was approved. they say it takes up to 30 days to be received. is that right?!

what is the next step? what should i do? can i go directly to ssn center?

New RFE paper received 2/28/09..gee good thing that RFE isnt due til beginning of April!!!!!!

Send RFE reply 3/3/08

EAD Approval was NOT updated online. We had an infopass meeting for 3/6 and then the EAD shows up in the mail on 3/5!!!! cancelled appointment,

all i have to say is #######.

My last touch was on March 27th too and before that, they kept touching me everyday for a week. Now it stops, what is going on???? :protest:<Btw, I'm a Dec Filer not Jan>

- 11-28-07 I-485/I-765/I-131 sent

- 12-06-07 NOA1 of AOS

- 12-18-07 received RFE for I-864

- 12-20-07 EAD and AP touched (Notice Returned as Undeliverable)

- 01-04-08 Biometrics appointment done

- 01-19-08 resent hubby's income proof

- 01-28-08 AOS touched (Response to RFE received, and case processing has resumed)

- 03-10-08 EAD and AP finally touched and approved!!! =)

- 03-12-08 Case Transfer to CSC

- 03-13-08 EAD Touched again (Card Production ordered)

- 03-17-08 AP and Transfer notice received in mail (AP valids until 03-09-09)

- 03-18-08 EAD touched again (Approval Notice sent)

- 03-20-08 EAD received in mail

- 03-27-08 AOS Touched everyday since 03-20 (Case pending)

- 04-01-08 Applied for my SSN with married name

- 04-07-08 SSN received in mail (YAY!!! No More ALIEN)

Also bring along with your marriage cert to apply for the SSN if you changed your last name.

FYI, I received my EAD in mail in a week, some got theirs in 5 days...so I think you expect to receive your card within 2 weeks!!

so what's going on with our greencard. it's soon going to be 3 months since we submitted our RFE. is this normal? I mean, the last thing I want is for my k3 medical to expire before we get to our interview.

Mine was in date when I sent my documents, just got an RFE for the medical, so they'll do what they want I guess.....

i had no toches since my BIO takem last month. i made a Infopass for today bc its been over 90 days since i filed for EAD and still didn't got it . So at the infopass in Tampa thay loocked up my case and aproved my EAD and my Card is on order . finally

As long as the medical was currrent when you filed (and they received the case) then you're ok. it does not matter if you don't have your interview until after the medical expires. The requirement is for it to be valid when you file, not when they come to adjudicate.

We are still waiting for any notice if we will have an interview or not. I am in awe of some timelines here and hopefully we get something too the soonest. Not even a touch for our I-485 since Jan. 18 ( date they received our AOS petition)

Removal of Conditions :

August 16, 2010 - Petition received by USCIS Vermont Center

August 20, 2010 - NOA1 received

October 4, 2010 - Biometrics

January 3, 2011 - Permanent 10 yr. Green Card Received.
