I have a random question. Is there any way to tell if your application is in the process of getting the FBI name check (or done, or hasn't begun, etc) without calling? IE. Do they update your case online when it is complete? Or do you just have to call and harass them for information?

email update: Card production ordered today for EAD!!!!

me too!!! yippee skippy!! Mine says it will take 30 days to receive. Do you think it will take this long for real?

based on other people's timelines, I believe it could take anywhere from a week to 2 weeks.

1/13/2008: Package Received

1/17/2008: Checks Cashed

1/23/2008: Receive NOAs (I-130,I-485, AP and EAD) dated 1/16/2008

2/11/2008: Receive ASC Appointment Notice (I-485 and I-765) dated 2/1/2008

2/29/2008: Biometric Appointment

3/4/2008: AP touched - request for additional info

3/7/2008: EAD touched - Approved

3/12/2008: Receive EAD

3/15/2008: Receive I-512L x 2 - dated 3/4/2008

7/10/2008: Interview Letter Received

8/20/2008: AOS Interview and GC is approved!

8/27/2008: Receive welcome letter dated 8/21

8/30/2008: Receive my GC!

- 11-28-07 I-485/I-765/I-131 sent

- 12-06-07 NOA1 of AOS

- 12-18-07 received RFE for I-864

- 12-20-07 EAD and AP touched (Notice Returned as Undeliverable)

- 01-04-08 Biometrics appointment done

- 01-19-08 resent hubby's income proof

- 01-28-08 AOS touched (Response to RFE received, and case processing has resumed)

- 03-10-08 EAD and AP finally touched and approved!!! =)

- 03-12-08 Case Transfer to CSC

- 03-13-08 EAD Touched again (Card Production ordered)

- 03-17-08 AP and Transfer notice received in mail (AP valids until 03-09-09)

I think sometimes we got RFE is not our fault, I got one too and after I resent to them, they resumed the case and now is transferred to CSC (same thing I sent to them with AOS at the first place, I also add more recent income proof), so maybe they lost our documents (I really think like that) :angry:

I agree with you, they might put an eye on the RFE cases... :yes:

Why whould they send an approval notice on my I-485 yesterday if they have already sent the welcome letter last week?

Hey guys,

I have a question regarding the filing date!

Is my filing date the receipt date or the NOA date or the date they actually received my documents? I'm just asking because in my case the difference is one month. I don't know what they were doing in January.

We sent the paperwork on January 14th and they received it on January 15th. But according to the NOA the receipt date is February 12th. What do you think? Am I a January or February filer?

Got an email today (03/13) from CIRS saying that they mailed an approval notice for my I-131 on 03/11. Good to see that something is finally moving on my case. Hopefully I-765 and I-485 will not be far behind!
