Ah I got a call back from my Congressman. I called this morning for him to look at it. He said that because I got an RFE after the biometrics were done (which is true because I did a walk-in), that they have 60 days to make a decision on your case or send an interview letter. He said probably adjudicating your case (he hasn't called or anything on my behalf, says its two early). But suggests that if I don't hear back from them in another 20 days or so, to contact him, and he will get in touch with USCIS.

So hopefully, its no bad news

Frustrated, hgill:

Have you called to USCIS for ask if they already received your RFE answer??? I called on February 18 and they only said me that they didn't know if they already received my RFE answer, but that I need to wait. And after 3 days I could ckeck my I-485 status I think that after I called they put my case online.

Can you check your case status online?? if it is not, maybe you cannot see what is happening with your petition and maybe it's already in CSC.

Good luck

what is the number to call?

So I called NCSC 18003755283.

they confirmed that RFE was recd in Feb. said that 765 takes 60 days to process and 485 6 months. therefore, they have no other info at this time.

not much help, except that I now know that they recd my RFE response.

apparently, it is also normal that the primary applicant will not have their status on line but dependants would (no explanation why).

Frustrated, was your RFE for your 765 or 485. If it was 485. They have 60 days from the receipt of your evidence to do an approval, denial, or interview. So hang in there

I'm seeing on a lot of signatures that you're getting RFE's on your I-864. I'm just wondering what reasons you'd get and RFE for those.

Thanks.

i believe my RFE was for 485 but doesn't say on the request.

i got the request for I864 because the affidavit of support I sent with my application was I-134 but they wanted to see I-864. I guess the difference is the estabilshment of poverty line and tax returns.

Really? Its sound great! it'd mean that I will have my GC in two months moreless or only the approval/denial/interview (I think the interview isn't a real option now that my case is CSC).

In my case I didn't send an I-864 from petitioner and we using a co-sponsor, so USCIS ask for an I-864 from petitioner. Another people got RFE for 2007 income tax or I-864A (if they'll needed)...

umm... you will not get your GC with in 60 days.. They may transfer it somewhere with in that 60 days..

and calling the 800 is pointless, all they tell/read you is the exact screen you can read by tracking your case on the website..

Hi,

I filed my AOS on January 24th and received all three NOA for AOS, EAD and travel documents. I can only check the status online for my AOS but my EDA and travel documents would not show. I tried to call the national customer service center because I need information for my EAD because, well, I need to start working! I've checked the timelines of people filing in January and you all have had your biometrics while I didn't even receive my letter for the Biometrics.

Any advice for me? Who could I call to have someone actually on the line and tell me what my status is?

I know it's only been a month but I had hoped I'd have my biometric letter by now, especially if everyone has had theirs.

Fred

About the case status online, this is unpredictable when you'll check it. I called to USCIS because I wasn't able to chek my I-485 status and they only told me that it would be a technic problem and I musn't be worried. That it would take two months to see them online... But after 1 and a half month, finally, I was able to check all my cases status. I recomend that you call only to confirm that I'm saying because they won't really help on anything. The unique way is to wait and wait, but it choice is hard to stand...

Good luck
