Okay so I'm wondering if anyone who filed AOS in Jan 2008, then got an RFE and has responded, heard back from USCIS?

I believe we don't get an acknowledgement in the form of NOA but since my 485 isn't on line, I have no way of knowing if the case has been resumed, is it being transferred, was the RFE documentation acceptable....etc.

my 765 was last touched on feb 6 which is the day after my biometrics and the day they would have recd my RFE response.

perphaps I need to be more patient:)

I had my biometrics appointment today. It was pretty quick and I was finished in about 30 mins. I also received my appointment for my interview today which is Monday 5th May at 8:30. I still can't check my status on-line yet though. It still says that the case numbers are invalid.

Hi everyone,

My husband and I filed for AOS (I765 + I485) on the 4th of Jan through a laywer,

where it was filed on the 18th of Jan 08,

they'd sent out the receipts on the 23rd of Jan 08 with MSC# (also not checkable),

on the 28th of Jan they'd sent out the Biometrics appointments,

today I went for my Biometrics and they told me my work authorization should be in within a month.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

Had Biometrics on 15th. Took less than 10 minutes. Today I got a transfer notice saying my I-485 was now at CSC.

I've had no touches on I-765 or I-131 since 8th Feb when they were added online, and the MSC number for I-485 is not yet viewable online.

Hoping to at least be able to see that soon.

K-1 Visa Process.

We just received an RFE saying we didn't submit his Birth Certificate (with translation) although we did. Should we just send another?? I know we sent it because we had his translation notarized. Maybe USCIS is retarded and couldn't recognize what it was?

Very interesting. We received a similar RFE just today, and my wife's birth certificate is written entirely in english. I am planning on re-submitting everything related to that tomorrow.

I called to USCIS today for ask about if they already have received my RFE answer. They cannot told me anything about it. She told me that my case (GC process) will finish after 12-18 months and that I need to wait and wait. Also, she told me that my EAD will be delayed too due to I got a RFE. I ask for my case status online one more time, and she told me that it would be a technic problem and that I need wait. And that there was any problem because she can check the case on her system...

:-(

Let's go January filers

We are starting to get worried. We mailed January 8, received NOA1 January 18 and nothing until now. Most of those who sent their AOS last January either have finished with their biometrics or already have a schedule. We also didnt receive any notice of RFE.

Still waiting for our Biometrics schedule.

Any thoughts about this delay?

We have 3xNOA from 16th Jan, no Bio appoitment either, I-485 was transferred to California about 2 weeks ago and havent heard back. Called USCIS twice and was told we have to wait loooong time before we get BIO app, they said every case is different. Called yesterday, told them i was unable to see I-765 & I-131 online and the man said they are under review, ####### it means. I also dont understand why most of people applying after us got Bio app already... anybody knows the answer? Come on!!! I would love to work! I want my I-765, come on!!!! Please.....
