Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I like the Frappacinos but I read they have something like 5 million calories so only once in a while!

Otherwise I drink the sludge at work - it's ####### but the savings are worth it!

A tall one is around 200-300(ish) calories. I'm sure whipped cream adds to it as well. ;)

I brew my own. Mags got me a great coffeemaker for Christmas. It's a Cuisinart Thermal one with a built-in grinder. I never thought it would make THAT much difference to have the coffee ground right before it's brewed. It does.

Here's the one she got me:

It makes delicious coffee. Plus, you can put the beans in before you go to bed, program it, and it'll grind and brew the coffee for when you wake up. Assuming, of course, that your spouse doesn't unplug the damn thing every night.....

They can't make a decent cup of coffee. That place is to coffee what McDonalds is to hamburgers.

Actually, since McDonald's went to gourmet coffee, it's far superior to Scarschmucks. Plus they put the sugar and cream in for you.

Oh so it's okay for you to push Mc Donalds and Cuisinart.

I c now.

Should we get into the politics of how awful McDonalds is??

:lol::thumbs:

So do you brew at home? I want to get a machine but am debating whether to get a french press or a regular machine...

oh man, french press all the way!!!! its a million times better....but thats if you like the taste of coffee...it comes out much stronger which is why its so much more delicious to me

wow, this topic has really engaged me...im officially a coffee addict *runs to make an espresso on her boss' fancy Nespresso machine*

Yes I do like coffee. I get lattes once in a while but I am a regular coffee drinker. I have to get my cup a day with soy creamer.

Stina: Are you still drinking caffeine whilst pregnant? Do people look at you strange and make it seem like you are asking for crack? I used to drink coffee here and there while pregnant and I would seriously get comments and weird looks.

the main reason i hate starbucks is the area we live in has a ton of wonderful family owned cafe's with brilliant coffees and long history some of them or 50+ years in the community. i prefer them to starbuck's peets etc. my husband does like starbuck's though.

Then I make it strong at home and use coffee mate French vanilla liquid creamer and a pinch of splenda. Tastes great! I like it better most of the time.

A word of advice, Don - those Coffee Mate creamers will clog your arteries faster than you can say '####### Cheney'. Seriously, you're better off using real cream or half and half.

I haven't had caffeine much, just have had some from time to time during my pregnancy. I usually just have decaf (not just to limit caffeine but to make sure my blood pressure stays low, sometimes caffeine can make my BP go up a lil while pregnant). Thankfully I didn't get any weird looks if I asked for regular, hehe. But I think a lot of people still couldn't tell I was pregnant even at 5-6 months along. Now it's more obvious!

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Very much so. Trans fats are the worst kinds of fat you can put in your body. You'd be better off eating 4 slices of bacon.
