I just did our I-129f timeline (and yes I know its just a projection), but it says that the file should be adjudicated in June. What does that mean?...that it will be approved and sent to NVC or we will have our interview by then or what? :help:

That's when your petition could be approved. Then it's forwarded to NVC then to the Embassy where the interview is given.

It's an estimate date of when your NOA2 will be adjudicated by USCIS only.

NVC forwarding and Interview date are other different steps.

Conditions lifted 10 yr GC in hands since Feb. 2011!

Would anyone happen to know how long it would take after June to get our interview in Mexico???

We were hoping to go in July, but looks like that is not at all possible???? :(

When should we plan on going for our interview??? He has to have a waiver for illegal presence so I need to gather all my documentation and don't want it to be too outdated.

Thanks!

We filed on December 5th.

I'm hoping to be down there in August.

The process takes anywhere from 6 to 9 months.

You can get a look at how much time you are looking at.

You'd be very lucky to make it there by July.

If you look at other folks using VSC, approvals are coming fast. So, you can expect that date to be changing real soon for the better. Go to immigration timelines and see how long it is taking from NO2A to interview.

Yeah, I know. I was hoping since I teach school I could go during summer break. Otherwise, I am probably going have to do a leave of absence without pay. The link you gave me showed about 6-7 months until the interview. Thanks!!

You need a waiver?

So, you'll be denied at the interview and then he will have to file the waiver.

This will be a long road.

I don't know how long it could take for the waiver to go through.

Best of luck to you!!!

Yeah, but now they have the Infopass system in Mexico (Cuidad Juarez) where you get your interview appointment about 4-5 days after your fiance interview. After I find out our appointment date for the I-129f, then I call the number in Mexico and schedule the waiver appointment. If I have good enough hardship letter, he will be approved that day and pick up visa the next day.
