MSN/Skype voice and video chat, play WoW together, we rent movies and watch them at the same time together while voice chatting. We eat dinner together on webcam, leave our webcam's on all night. It's pretty fun.

I work a lot and save as much money as I can and he does the same.

We are both working towards the same goal. I love him so much!

Thinking about the day when all this is over and we can finally be together. Thinking about our future, how I will decorate the house, about all the good times ahead of us.

Don't think there's a recipe to make things easier permamently. There are always those days when you feel extremely low. I'm trying to look at it this way. We are over 1 month into the process, so we are 1 month closer to being together. Every day that passes is one day less wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It'll all be good eventually!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In every difficulty lies an island of opportunity.

You spend as much time "together" as possible. We use skype, email, and the webcam is a lifesaver!!! We plan our wedding even though we have no idea when it will be. When its really rough we cry, scream and curse (well at least i do!) You just have to realize that its not forever and at least we have each other , at least we know we will see each other again. I went through the physical pain last time David left. I went weeks without sleeping, could not eat, felt like I could die. But for me I had to get my a*# in gear as I have a small child. Yet I made it through that and we will see each other Friday for a few weeks or months depending on the POE. Yet we all have to go through this if we want to be together. Just think of it as a test of the strength of yourself and your relationship, you will make it through because the only other choice is to give up and I know for myself I am not giving up the only man that has made me believe in love..

So be strong! think of all the good times you have had and all the many more you will have in your lifetime together!!!!!!! (L)

David and I met online December of 2006 and spent a year getting to know each other online and with visits! He proposed to me July 2007 onstage at my Favorite bands (candlebox) concert in Florida .We found out we were expecting a child January 31st sadly due to an ectopic pregnancy we lost the baby and almost lost me as well on February 8th. We then decided to get married if my long and drawn out divorce finalized before David was due to go back on April 13th

Divorced finalized March 20th

3/30/2008 MARRIED !!!!

4/11/2008 I 130 , I 485, 1765 and I131 Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

4/21/2008 first NOA for everything

5/17/2008 RFE for Affidavit of support

5/20/2008 mailed in response to RFE

5/22/2008 Biometrics

6/10/2008 EAD Card production ordered!!!!

6/10/2008 I131 Approved YAY we can visit England again!! (nobody from there could make our short notice wedding)

For me, I planned a date we would see each other etc. I needed some light at the end of the tunnel. I also just kept telling myself it was either this or be without him, and I'd rather talk to him for 2 hours a day than not have him at all... It's hard, but looking back, it was only a blip in our relationship, something that made us know each other better than most engaged couples. You'll get through it and hopefully have a stronger relationship for it. Good luck

Could well be  Wouldn't that be funny if we ended up with identical timelines?

I think you have to stay as positive as possible. It's hard enough being apart, but if you are negative throughout the process, that'll make it even harder. Hope Steve reads this so he can remind me next time I have a real bad day. ;)

...When you feel like you're going crazy without your soulmades?

When the pain gets allmost physical?

That's a really tough test...

Is there a secret to keep strong?

I know this isn't everyones cup of tea, but if you have online access (which I can safely assume you do), then I suggest that you two could find an online game to help pass the time.

Me and my fiancee played an online game called "Tibia", which is an online MMORPG. I wont go into basics, because I wouldn't want to get into trouble for advertising.

It just helped our time pass by a little, as I said, especially some of the more "mature" people here, it isn't everyones cup of tea, but for people that like games, especially to play people with, I suggest some online ones.

Anyway, as I hopefully end my VJ and you begin yours, I can truly say it WILL be worth it.

Best of luck to you!

Me and Lara talk everyday mostly on the phone. She uses calling cards to keep the costs down. I use a company called 18185 here in the UK. We try to go cam about 3-4 times a week to cheer us up. We only see each other about twice a year so the months can be long and hard. It can be difficult with the 5hr time difference as she gets up at 600am so shes in bed by 1100pm her time. Everyday that passes, is a day nearer together.
