oooooo Liz! I love the artwork on the walls! You have crown moulding at the ceiling...that's something else we want in our house. Of course, we're thinking re-sale value for the future. :)

What colour walls do you have in your bedroom???

I'm still trying to decide. I'm leaning towards the colours I had in my old house but we'll see. This is the bed (kingsize):

Ohhhh.....I want that bed!

I am also stealing your bed!!!

I actually like the colour on the walls in the pic you posted!!!

Thanks Laura...this is the nicest home I've ever had and we're both ever so proud of it! I do know that Joel would love to do the office with hockey/airplane items - both are his third and fourth loves. :) Anna wants Tinkerbell in her room. Not sure what theme to do the kitchen in just yet...Tuscany maybe.

At Lowe's we have a whole section for Tinkerbell stuff!!! Curtain rods, AMAZING wallpaper, paint to match, little girly things. It makes me want to have a baby!!!

Tuscany for the kitchen...you will be in heaven!!!

This thread will be great for me! We moved in the summer and I really haven't done much decorating yet.

I guess I could post some pics of the decorating in the new clinic!

Yeah!!! Please post them!

We haven't even bought a house yet...I'm sure I'll get tons of ideas.

Thanks for starting this thread Krikit! :luv:

Ahhh I like all these rooms! Karen it's just lovely and you really did get lucky! Krikit, just lovely!! and liz, your room is so unique, I want to read the stuff on the wall but can't, what do they say?

I can't post pictures of any of my rooms because they are just incomplete, I like to travel light haha - plus we are waiting to buy new furniture in florida - we are going to go with darker furniture in most rooms, british colonial type stuff.

Here are 2 tables I really like though, they are our living room end tables. The first one my Dad gave to me, it is 47 years old. The other one we bought and is actually a writing table, as you can see we haven't done much writing on it.

Oh and the way I quoted something someone said in another thread - just used Reply in the first thread then copied and pasted it in to the next thread - quotes and all.

Karen, I just wanted to say I love your couch!!! (Please post the pictures in this thread!!!)

And I adore the iron shelving stand thingy in the corner by the door with the ivy. It's lovely.

You should be very proud of your home!!!

HOW HOW HOW! How did you do that Krikit!!! You really are magical!!!

No change it back!! LOL

I did a copy and paste but it looks like my post instead of Karen's. Hopefully, she'll be able to do it.

lol oh! I was thinking "OMG she did it!"

I know there is a way cause I saw trailmix do it one time in another thread.

just hit the quote button of the post you want then find the thread you want to reply in and hit add reply and the quote will appear in that post.... probably as clear as mud :P

Ooooo...decorating! Another of my favourites! Here's some pics of our Living Room...all finished. The the large entertainment armoire and tv were given to us...all we had to do is pick it up. The rest was already ours. My MOH (my best girlfriend for ages) came over and helped me arrange stuff. Sometimes I think it's easier to see furniture placement when it's someone else's house. I didn't have a clue how to arrange my own home *sigh* Anywho...I'm rather proud of it all. Now to get our bedroom done. I'm thinking of a wall canopy...not the over the bed kind, but the kind that looks like a curtain behind the bed. Then the office...Anna's bedroom...the kitchen. LR3.jpg

I'm like that too. We moved into our new house a year ago, but with all the immigration stuff and my Mom being sick..... and and and..... I just haven't gotten to some serious decorating as yet. Which is why I'm so excited about this thread. I'm hoping to pick up some decorating ideas from everyone. My current speedbump is colour. I want to paint the walls (it's just builder's white right now) but I can't decide on a colour. I have a vague idea of what I want, but then I think.... "What if I don't like it?"

Yes, post some pics of the clinic! Or tell us what you THINK you're going to do. Because that's probably all I'm going to do too. Until I actually do something.

Those are cool end tables, Trailmix. One you can play checkers or chess on, and the other has all kinds of cool cubbies and storage areas. Neat!
