I like to keep things basic and fresh!! Most important is curb appeal:

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

GRR! How do you respond to another post from another thread in this thread?

I want to reply to Karen's pictures of her beautiful house in this thread!

I saw Trailmix do it once!!!

This is our bedroom set.... from zgallerie.com. The armoire is in the living room for the moment..... until we get a big screen. Right now it holds the TV which will eventually go into the bedroom.... along with the armoire.

The armoire was given to us, as was the tv (a nice 42")...the girl I work with said just come get it or hubby will throw it out. They bought a flat panel and just didn't want this. Talk about wow!

Like I mentioned in the other thread...I have a few other rooms that need doing. Might have to wait til summer break. :)

Thanks Laura...this is the nicest home I've ever had and we're both ever so proud of it! I do know that Joel would love to do the office with hockey/airplane items - both are his third and fourth loves. :) Anna wants Tinkerbell in her room. Not sure what theme to do the kitchen in just yet...Tuscany maybe.
