Hello everyone!

I know that to file to remove conditions

should be 90 days or later of the expiration

of your green card.

However there are rumors on the web

that you shoul do it at least 6 months before the

expiration, because the long processing time.

My question is simple.

Can you do that, or it's got to be 90 days plus.

Thanks a lot guys

Everyone that answers this question before has said when the ave tried, USCIS rejects, and returns the entire package.

Makes no difference processing times, you WILL get a NOA1 letter that extends green-card for 1 year beyond expiration.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

It is exactly 90 days. For example, if one's conditional GC expires on June 1, he/she must file I-751 between March 1-June 1 range. USCIS will send NOA which will say that the conditional GC is extended for one more year.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
