on evaair.com in the hot e-fares section, it says the following:

1.A maximum of four passengers (including children) can be booked with each transaction provided that one of the adult passengers is the cardholder who pays for the transaction. (Someone is considered to be a 'child' if his/her age is between 2 to 11). You are required to present the credit card used to purchase the ticket during check-in at the airport. For identification at the check-in counter, you must use a credit card with the card number and name stamped into it. You are required to input your first name and last name exactly as displayed on the credit card. Passengers who fail to do so will be denied boarding unless they purchase a full-fare ticket at the airport ticket counter.

Does this mean that I cannot purchase a one-way ticket for my fiancee at the special e-fare rate?

I'm planning to buy my tickets at evaair. What my husband did is he applied a credit card in my name and he sent it together with the financial documents needed for my interview thru DHL. I could purchase my tickets online once I got my visa.

Yup. I just did the same exact thing 10 minutes ago :D I will be there for her interview though. I just don't know if I can match my flight or not. My tickets are already purchased

You can match them but there is a chance that you might not get it at the hot-efare section. The difference is just minimal if ever you get them at the regular price. Have a safe trip :)

09/09/08 received EAD card in the mail

12/03/08 received interview letter for Jan 21 2009

01/21/09 approved for conditional permanent residence

02/02/09 permanent residence card arrived in the mail

10/21/10 submit form to remove conditions

01/21/11 10 year gc received

03/05/12 mailed my N-400

03/06/12 received email that they have my N-400

04/05/12 biometrics

Try www.kayak.com

It will show you a list of option of fares and also the carrier. You don't actually book the ticket through them but they just act as a search engine for you. My husband got a really good deal (with $200 discount) on that website during his last visit to Malaysia.

Another tip would be, plan early!

11/20/08- Got my WA driving license!

08/03/10- I-751 sent

08/09/10- NOA

08/24/10- Biometrics

10/28/10- Case approved

The last time I flew to phils I used "Gateway Express" in Seatle, they specialize in travel to Asia. Ask for Miss Chen. She saved me over $100 from what I could find online. Please tell her Kevin sent you. :D
