I've called up some travel agencies here in Cebu today. They have as low as $573 via cathay pacific to SFO for January 17, then the next date with immigrant discount is Febuary 6. For the other dates you can't get discount coz i think its quite full already, about $900.

Oh I apologize for my earlier post. I just got my ticket for the 17th and the agency told me that Cathay pacific don't offer discounts for k-1 visa holders. The discount only applies to contract workers & dependents of immigrants. I had to pay $885 which i paid for last year.

Oh, I had inquired with a travel agency also here in Cebu. The price quotation that they gave me is $915 (Cebu to JFK). :-( And that's for Feb. 23 or March 1 trip.

Got my wife and daughter a quote.. From MNL - JFK

$615 for the child

No choice.. They have to.. In order for them to be with me on the return flight.. They have to fly Korean Air, cause that's my return flight..

So I should grab it?

Also what's good about Korean Airlines is there is no fee to change your dates..

Also their main office is so easy to find.. Its along Ayala Ave..

Yeah I been to their main office in Makati. Where did you find a fight from MNL to JFK so cheap? I tried calling here but no one will sell me Korean from MNL to Dallas. Wonder why?? Maybe I'll just have you purchase it there in NYC for us if that is where you purchase your wife's ticket..

As for my ticket... I am flying NWA from JFK stop @ Minneapolis MN, then direct from MN to MNL.. Then coming back I am flying KAL..

I got my ticket from cousin's millage bonus.. She told me I can pay her when I come back when I'm ready.. Heheheheh!!
