Wow... I'm excited! But I have so many questions.

My wife got her packet on 3 Jan. But I still haven't received mine. Should I be concerned about this? Her interview date is set for 6 Feb in Moscow. We don't have much time for me to get everything together and get it to her. Also, her interview date still doesn't show up at http://www.usembassy.ru/consular/iv_dates.php . Should I be concerned about this?

Also does anybody know the typical time between the interview in Moscow and actually having her visa in hand. She lives in Siberia and I'm trying to figure out whether it's better if she stay there after the interview or come home for a bit.

Thanks so much for your help!!!

Hello,

My girl who also lives in Siberia (Tomsk) received her packet about two months ago and I thought I would get a packet also. But I did not, but I got instructions from my girl about what she needed from me to include with her papers when she goes for her interview on March 17. So I belive everything should be fine. I sent her my tax returns, 1 year of bank statments (I am self-employed), a letter to say I intend to marry her, and a notarized I-134 Affidavit of Support filed out.

Good luck

Bob
