did DOS know the interview date?

I-130 recieved by USCIS( NOA 1) :- 5-1-07

I-130 approval ( NOA 2) :- 8-15-07

NVC

Case recieved at NVC :- 8-28-07

DS-3032 & AOS fee bill sent :- b]9-10-07[/b

DS-3032 & AOS fee bill recieved :- 9-14-07

DS-3032 & AOS fee bill sent :- 9-17-07

DS-3032 recieved in india :- 9-29-07

DS-3032 sent :- 10-1-07

IV fee bill generated :- 10- 1-07

Received IV fee bill & AOS :-10-15-07

sent IV fee bill & AOS :- 10-23-07

NVC recieved IV fee bill :- 10-29-07

DS-230 sent by NVC :- 11-6-07

Received DS -230 form :- 11-19-07

11/15/07 - NOA2 Approved (no email/no touches)

11/16/07 - Touched

11/26/07 - Called 202-663-1225 Given Case number and petition is loaded (electronically submitted to Lagos)

11/21/07 - NVC mailed to Lagos DHL

11/27/07 - Arrived Lagos Consulate (signed by Godwin)

12/06/07 - Received interview date from State Department (202) 663-1225

12/12/07 - Email from Lagos Embassy packets ready for pickup

01/16/08 - Hakeem picked up packets

02/06/08 - Interview scheduled in Lagos

DOS knows as soon as the consulate schedules the date, DOS has access to the consulates computer systems.

I called Visa services and knew the interview date before it was mailed to my fiancee.

2010-4-12 Bio (done early 3-29)

2010-6-3 card production ordered

2010-6-19 10 year GC recieved

N-400

2011-3-28 application sent via express mail to LEWISVILLE TX SC

2011-3-29 application recieved

2011-4-20 early BIO

2011-6-16 interview

2011-7-29 Oath

DOD is the Department of Defence but I think you mean DOS, which is the Department of State. All Embassies and Consulates as well as NVC are part of DOS. The discussion is about the DOS visa information line when the operators can see the status of all visa cases that have cleared NVC.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

DOD Department of Defence :lol: Yep they are the ones in the Pentagon shaped building in Washington DC, overseeing the Navy, Air Force, Marines, Army, and Coast Guard.
