Interview: PINK!

Hello Everyone. I would like to announce that my fiancee went in for the interview this morning and received the Pink slip. My fiancee said that the translator was a nice Vietnamese woman and the CO was a nice Korean gentleman. To quickly summarize, they asked her a lot of questions (I will post below) and the only thing they asked to see were our pictures. There was a minor discrepency on the pink slip. The date for the Visa says Jan 29th, 2009. I noticed the error in the year and told my fiancee. She then went back to the HCMC and they acknowledged the mistake and fixed the year. It looks like the time to get the Visa has now been pushed to 3 weeks. My fiancee asked a few people that also received the pink slip this morning and they also confirmed that their dates to reveive the Visa is in 3 weeks.

Here are the questions that were asked:

1. Who is the sponsor?

2. How did we meet? How did your aunt know your fiance? What method was used from your aunt as an introduction to him?

3. How long have the two of you known each other?

4. Has any of you ever been married before?

5. When did your fiance enter the U.S.? How? Did he stay in any other countries before entering the US..?

6. What is your fiance's occupation? What does his company do?

7. When and how did your fiance propose to you?

8. Since the day you've knwon your fiance, what gfits has he sent you?

9. When and where was the engagement ceremony held? Who attended on your side? His side?

10. Did the two of you take any trips together? When and where?

11. Why did your fiance make the 3rd trip back within a year span?

Then they asked to look at the pictures. They randomly picked out a few pictures and asked her when and where those pictures were taken. Other than the pictures, my fiancee said they carefully looked at my I-134. They didn't bother look at anything else.

Thank you everyone for your support and I wish everyone the best of luck on this journey. I will be happy to answer any questions anyone may have.

Thanks for the info about the interview. That will be very helpful to Thi and me. 3 weeks for the visa is not what I was hoping to hear tho.......but we'll deal with it.

man, that's great! All the best to you and your fiancee.....

one question, based on your research, what have you found for pricing for one-way airfares to the USA?

all the best,

I was suppose to be back in the US on 12/27/06, but I had an injury to both of my knees and wasn't able to make the trip home. I am still here in VN recovering. My fiancee went into Asiana Airline office to delayed my flight and based on what she had told me, prices for a one-way trip to the U.S is anywhere from $600-$650. $650 is with Asiana. Since I still have to go home with them then I have to book for my Fiancee with as well. She told me that $615 is with Eva. I'm not sure about other Airlines.

Thank you everyone for your congrats! :)

MR2nice...... CONGRATULATIONS!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
