How to qualify for an advance parole document

For Form I-131, how to explain that I qualify for an AP document? What specific INS is looking for?

I am on F1 visa and applying for I-130 along with AOS. Which "class of admission" on I-131 should I type in?

I just received a AP for my stepdaugther. My understanding is that a AP is fairly easy to get nowadays. Your class of admission would be " F-1 Visa". Include in the package a sperate sheet of paper explaining that you are in the US on a F-1 visa and that you are appyling for a relative visa and AOS. Include a copy of the I-131 and I-485 applications. Include any evidence you want them to consider for your reason for AP. I didn't include any evidence. I just explain in writing that a relative was sick and I was fine. If you need one fast then check with your local office. Some local offices will process a emergency AP in 1 or 2 days. My local office does not. I wrote "Please expediate" on the application and explain in writing why I needed it quickly. I received it in the mail in a little under 2 weeks.
