About to start a new job

I have been out of work since this past August and been drawing unemployment and working as a substitute teacher during this time. Today I was offered a great job and will be starting next week (God willing). This new job is a temp-perm position at a bank. I found a co-sponsor before because I knew I would need one since I was not working but I'm wondering now if I will still need a co-sponsor... Does it matter that it's a temp-perm job? Does it matter that I went so long without a job? I have my last three years tax returns and the two oldest show my income well above the requirement but this years, of course, does not meet the requirement. If, when the time comes, I show proof of my current income and get a letter from the temp agency stating my current income and that it is highly likely that this job will turn into a perm position (or if I already have the perm position then a letter from them), is it possible that I can sponsor him on my own? Our petition has not even been approved yet so I assume we have a few months before we'll actually need the affidavit of support. Has anyone had experience with this?

I agree just have a cosponor just to be safe. Just incase I read sometimes they dont even look at your affidavit of support. Maybe its cause the K visa affidavit of support I-134 isnt law abiding from what I read. I dont know but maybe.
