That is right!!! very good.. only a minor thing here ; ogrenmeye calisiyorum..

Turkce cok zor cunku cok farkli ama ogrenmek calisiyorum. Was that right? :)

BTW I emailed to the embassy to ask if our documents complete or anything missing and if we need to provide 2008 and 2006 tax returns and W2s.. Their answer is below..

According to our records, you need to provide the followings at the time of the interview:

-Passport

-Medical report

-$131 Fortis Bank receipt

-Proof of bona fide relationship

Please note that, for some cases further documentation may be required after the interview and they can be provided by mail.

Our office does not recommend visa applicants making specific plans, as visa processing may take extended amount of time

They say I shouldn't make any plan before, but i feel that i will be returning home with my husband :) fingers crossed..

Have a great to all!!! (L)

Good luck Feliz! I hope your interview goes well! :star:

btw your practice in turkish is very good.. Keep going.. It seems you are very interested in learning Turkish. I loved that. My husband never forgets the turkish words that i tell him.. Of course i taught him very nice words like "askim, sevgilim, bebegim etc.." ha ha.. he calls my parents "annecim, babacim".. i love the way he speaks :) last time when he was here one of my friend taught him "sus kadin- shut up woman".. when i speak too much he says to me "sus kadin" lol

Tesekkurler!! That is so funny you mentioned "sus". Yilmaz's sisters taught me that one and I will use it quite frequently (joking - saka, sorry can't make the tail on the "s" - of course).

I love that his sister's are always trying to teach me words. I always remember the ones they taught me too. Thank you again for the vote of confidence on my Turkish. I am really trying :)

Best wishes on your interview and I feel that you two will be traveling back to the U.S. together!!

We have another snow day today - one of the advantages to the long and harsh winters in Ohio. But, sitting at home alone with my cat is starting to wear on me. I am growing weary of doing everything alone from carrying the groceries up to my third floor apartment to watching movies. I suppose it builds strength - but I've had enough independent strength building...I am ready to move onto the "we" part of my life. My biggest fear is that come May or June Onur's visa approval will still be pending. I know that there is nothing I can do about that. It's just one of those hard days - sitting at home snowed-in, left alone with my thoughts and my dreams. Sometimes it feels like "happy ending" that I have been waiting for is only a dream which I can see a flicker of, but which always seems out of reach and doesn't seem to be growing any nearer. That's the toughest thing about AP - you don't see it growing nearer...it just knocks you off of your feet one day without any warning. I keep telling myself, some idle weekday I'll check the clearance website and our number will be there and my life will be changed. I hope that day is near.

Hi Julia,

We had a snow day too!! I know exactly how you feel. So many things that I have wanted to share with Yilmaz have passed. And today, the other girls in the office were talking about their plans for Valentine's day!! :( A nice long weekend in the city, since we have off on Monday for President's day!

Keep your chin up. I continue to pray for all of us. I know once you get through this AP, things will go faster than you know it!!

Hugs,

Wendy

Thank you all.

Now i am counting down the days down till i am with my hubby (L) also getting ready for the interview.. only 25 days left!!! btw I am doing something really fun. I can't believe i am enjoying this visa process right now lol I am putting some pictures of us on a ms power point document.. Basically i am preparing a presentation on pp.. :) I am arranging it in chapters.. chronological.. meeting, engagement, henna, wedding and the other pics of us.. I put 4 or 5 pics on each slide.. after i finish it, i'll print it out..colored print..and i will bind it at work..it will be 20 pages i think.. almost 120 pic.. thus i can show them lots of pics in order. I will also take the pictures with me.. If they don't want to look at my presentation fine..it will be a nice memory though :)

Have a wonderful weekend to all!!!! (F)

Filiz,

You are too funny! Your organization is going to blow them away at the embassy. Hey, perhaps you can save your power point for a party once in the U.S. for your hubby's family?

Hi all!

I have wonderful news - the embassy emailed us today and told us that Onur's AP has been completed. They requested his passport, refusal sheet (that specified AP), and new medical exam papers (have to re-do it b/c it has been over 6 months) and said that they will process it as soon as possible and send his visa to his address in Turkey!

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Onur texted me today at school and said "babe please call me" and I knew something was up...I was just hoping it was good news. Luckily the students were at recess and I was able to step outside and call him - I was jumping around outside my school with joy!

I hope this means good news for Sibel and Muhammet is near!

Thanks everyone for your support.

Julia
