LOL don't get me started on the GI probs! Let's just say that the last time we went to Turkey, I had to ask Ozzy to pick me up 1 kg of raisins at the bazaar.... ....and even that didn't help. And I've had the opposite problem too....not sure which is worse!
Sorry folks, wayyyyy TMI!!!

perhaps it's a combination of everything you mentioned?
I get it, too, along with horrible GI issues.

Random question: I've noticed that whenever I go to Turkey, my skin breaks out pretty bad and can take several weeks or longer after I return to get back to normal. Has anyone else experienced this? I do have break-out prone skin, but it always seems to go crazy when I am in Turkey. Could it be the oily food? Water? Plane travel? I have no idea what is causing this, but it sucks!

Hahaha! Well, since we are all being so candid, I am happy to admit that I had NO G.I. issues during this trip to Turkey - I was impressed! Maybe after living there for 5 months, my body got used to it.

Yea, I ate boatloads of nuts then I had to force down Ayran for a day or two...then i was normal...Oh and Istanbul water tastes so good from the tap...but I didn't know we weren't supposed to drink it until he told me....lol

Problems & Questions:

I am assembling packet three now;anyone not have much proof of a relationship before filing a K-1? I only have like 5 or 6 emails from the first 5 months. We met online on 12/24/2007;met in person 5/16/2008, stayed 10 days, filed I-129 for a K-1 visa on 5/29/08....went back to see him for 2 weeks in September 2008.

Now it has come time to quit getting bogged down in the details and send the damned packet already! :whistle: My problem is that proof of relationship thing..(before we met though)

Do they really care about what went on before the two of us met? My computer got a virus and Yahoo archives went bye-bye...and we had no clue to save them while we were getting to know each other those first 5 months. I have everything after we met until now, but not before.

I don't even know if we need to send this all in the packet now, but several people have and packet 3 says to even though I have heard others only send in the DS-156, etc, first....

Ankara gives very, very conflicting advice when asked a question and the answers are compared to others experiences and packet 3 instructions... :help:

Anyway, I just don't know and this is stressing me out. What do you think they will say or is this even an issue?What did you all do? Any issues?

:ot: How did you and Hamit like "Mirrors"? Did you see it in Turkish or English? We watched that one & loved it!! You know how at the end, the main character ends up "in" the mirrors...he's walking down the street and all the signs are backward? Well, I swear to god, we left the theater and walked out into the parking lot & there was a mall security truck. The sticker on the front that said "security" was stuck on BACKWARD! Freaked me out!!!!! :girlwerewolf2xn:

That's funny Tanya...and creepy...

Yea I seen that in the end...we seen it in English with Turkish subtitles and I see they use the same Turkish wordage for all curse words in English. :lol: Hamit didn't like it much because I he doesn't like horror films (he better get used to it living in the same house later lol)and the only other people there were two teen couples getting jiggy with it behind us...seriously...uuuggghhh...I had to make noises being me ...lol but I do love scary movies!

I am done with this packet...Yay!! I am so tired I am winding down to go to sleep and Hamit can copy the whole darned thing. I have had it with packets and visas, but I sure want my love here so I guess I would do it again if I had to...lol

I know.... People move on when they come together, put the pain of it behind and move forward. Once together all the other processes are nothing compared to being separated. I don’t know if you remember but it was hard for me and I had so much support here, very thankful for that...I am just an emotional soul :blush: and we didn’t have any problems....I feel so bad for those of you who have not moved right along thru this process. (F) I pray this year bring you all together.
