We watched Good Luck Chuck on Friday night and it was hilarious! Anyone seen Perfect Stranger with Halle Berry & Bruce Willis? I picked it up from the library a few days ago and I think we're going to watch it tonight. Any good?

I'm taking your word for it (Good Luck Chuck). my husband and I will watch it tonight. We will go see 27 Dresses tomorrow, we're craving a light movie w/ comedy and romance. Work is getting more stressful these days.

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

Andre saw part of "Maria Full of Grace" and now wants me to rent it so he can see it all. I love this movie.

That movie is excellent. It is based on a true story about drug "mulas."

Hey, sereia! Was the Bollywood film good ? I love Amores Perros & Y Tu Mama Tambien... some of my favorite Spanish movies.

I borrowed a cd of the movie "Om Shanti Om" from a girl at work (she loves Indian movies) and it was okay. I like some of the songs from the movies. I want to find a good movie with a moving story. Have any kleenex-type recommendations?

Recent movies I watched:

I am Legend - Didn't like the movie overall... but i did cry once :crying:

The Bourne Ultimatum - we didn't finish it

Superbad - funny

I'm downloading the Invisible, The Kingdom, and Notes on a Scandal and Stranger Than Fiction

Any thoughts on those movies ?

If you like Amores Perros and Y tu mama tambien, you'll love Bad Education and Los Pecados de Padre Amaro. Both star Gael Garcia Bernal.Bad Education is directed by Alomodovar.I LOVE HIS MOVIES !

I thought I would start a movie thread because I always wonder about certain movies or what this line was from or is this any good.

I will start...I checked out Lucky You with Drew Barrymore from the library today but wasn't really keen on seeing it but since it was free I thought I would give it a try, any good?

I recommend : Anything and everything by Pedro Almodovar,Amelie,Delicatessen,Johnny Stecchino,Il Monstro,Mediterraneo,,Como Agua Para Chocolate,Goodfellas, and Cidade de Deus.

haha Amber you were right! It's actually better than we expected, given all the reviews we read online. Do you recall the scene when dentist Charlie wanted to confide to his recon surgeon friend Dr. Stu about his fear of losing Cam (J. ALba) and he finds his friend playing with his "grapefruit"? I did not expect that, I almost choked on my soda laughing!

 just put it away.

After we had dinner tonight my friend and I went to see 27 Dresses and it was actually quite funny. I expected more of a love story than a comedy though.

Saw 3:10 to Yuma the other night. Bloody brilliant. Really want to see Michael Clayton, next.

I liked 3:10 to Yuma - Russell Crowe and Christian Bale aside - Ben Foster (from Buffy) plays the pyscho lieutenant. He's a pretty good actor - was in 30 Days of Night too (which I also quite liked).

Saw Michael Clayton in the cinema - it was ok, but not all that memorable. The story is easy to follow - but I couldn't connect to it.

are you sure he was in Buffy?? it doesn't list it in his Filmography

he was in a a bunch of episodes of 6 Feet Under... and he also was in X-Men - The Last Stand...
