We went to see Wanted earlier.

It was...........average for me. The fun part was the scene at Wesley's office. It's like a valid escape for unhappy office drones (like me) to go on a killing spree to retaliate being put down, or for Wesley being life's failure.

I started to feel awe the first 20 minutes and then I drifted to a cloud of vagueness. I must have missed the crucial part but it got me wondering to "####### is the point of the fraternity/" to "where does the money come from?" to "OMG! Angie must have skipped lunch and dinner again". By the time the movie ended, I was down to "I can't wait to go to this yard sale."

It was no surprise to see my husband get bored. *yawns*

It was almost impossible for me to care for this movie. Almost.

We just got back from seeing "Wanted"

I liked it. That's about it. It was good. Not excellent. Not great, but good.

Sure there were scenes that had me thinking about the realism in the film. But after all it is a movie. A fictional movie.

Will I buy it when it comes out on DVD? Undecided.

There was one question that remains in my head... Does Angelina need someone to buy her a sammich?? Don't get me wrong. She is hawt. But too damn skinny. Oh well. To each his own.

Next on my list...Get Smart

I hated this movie. Fictional movie, obviously.. but there has to be some logic to make the plots more fluid and catchy. Something you would want to talk about with your friend on the phone. This movie failed to do that for me. But it is still good. I wished we went to see Kung Fu Panda instead. But then again, this is my personal review. Who cares? :P Go see it.

I haven't watched a movie in a long time. What should I get?

One of my favorite movies is called Hard Eight. Green Parrot Productions from the '80s. Phillip Baker Hall, Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, John Reilly before they were superstars. Set in Reno and Vegas, there are lots of gambling references, and the cast (other than Jackson) play roles that are much different than what we see them in now typically. It is a thinking movie, and e few parts don't seem to make immediate sense, but a good drama dealing with the heirarchy of evil.

Has anyone gone to see Hancock with Will Smith??

Just saw it yesterday. It was cool. But coulda been better. I felt like as soon as it was getting good it ended. Set it up nicely for a sequeal. There's a catch in the movie which wasnt as awesome as I had hoped it to be. I guess I imagined all kinds of possible catches. I suggest you not read any reviews or listen to people give away spoilers. If I had heard the spoiler before seeing the movie I wouldnt had wanted to see it so badly. But I love Will Smith. He's entertaining.

Yeah. The reviews have stunk. Maybe we will go see it tonight. I love Will Smith.

We just saw it last night. I hadn't seen any reviews or spoilers so I really liked it. I agree with Marlita in I thought just when it got good it was over. I would recommend seeing it. Anyway, any movie with Will Smith in it is worth seeing.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Has anyone seen "The other Boleyn girl"?

I'm thinking about renting it today

I saw The Devil's Advocate again. Terrible movie - with Keanu "whoa" Reeves and Al Pacino doing his wild-man act.

I loved it. Al Pacino's monologue and acting is awesome!

Saludos,

Caro

I watched it a few days ago and I totally loved it!

I also watched 'funny games" last night...I must admit it was the creepiest and most disturbing movie I have ever watched, no wonder Michael Pitt (one of the main actors) asked his mom not to go watch it after it came out, he was worried she wouldn't be able to take it by watching his son acting that way, he said it is tough for him too to rewatch himself...It is very well done in my opinion, not a blood and guts movie at all (no violent scene is purposely avoided), but it is so cruel it takes some stomach to watch. I was speechless afterwards...
