I've just seen Into the Wild. I wished I can just burn money, leave everything behind like the guy Chris aka Alexander Supertramp did. But I will surely take my husband with me

Yeah, very good film. The self portait in the end really moved me to tears.

And I just love love love Eddie Vedder's voice - it sounds so nice in combination with the great landscape shots.

I agree, gotta love that voice!

Nice photos in your siggy, I love them.

Ohhhhh thank you!! :D Someone said something about my photos!!! Yay!!!

I actually took them

Saw Country for Old Men. I thought it was okay until the ending which totally sucked. Very abrupt and annoying. Made me view the whole movie as a waste of my time after that ending!

 it smelled of sequel.

I watched Sweeny Todd today and it was great. I am not big on musicals, but this was just really well done. Johnny Depp, Alan Rickmann and Helena Bonham-Carter play well. The movies is dark, very gorey and violent, but amusing at the same time, if that makes sense. Tim Burton at his best.

I can totally recommend it!

We watched "The Painted Veil" recently. I do like some period pieces, and found the imagery in this film really beautiful.

I also saw that recently. Loved the scenery too! It was good but not GREAT. Actually I haven't seen a movie in quite a while that really blew me away.

Our thoughts exactly when we saw it. Fortunately, all we lost was time; we watched it free since my friend is a Screen Actors Guild member, and lent us a "not to be distributed" copy that he got in preparation for voting for the Academy Awards.

Exactly. It was a decent watch - but that was about it. I havent been blown away since "Crash".
