I saw "Lucky You" off Movies On Demand... probably one of the worst things I saw in 07, except maybe "Music in Lyrics," also On Demand. I always think I'm in the mood for the stupidest movie possible, but then it turns out I'm not.

"The Orphanage" is good, but not "Pan's Labyrinth" good.

Well I tried to watch Lucky You and I turned it off about 15 minutes into it because I got bored. Then, last night we rented Maria Full of Grace and I was all excited to see it since everyone said it was so good and the disc wouldn't load! I was so peeved. I tried it on all 3 DVD players and it didn't work on any of them. I even tried my computer. I called Family Video and they apologized and said we can bring it back and get another copy of the movie plus a free rental. Neil said he thinks it was the only copy they had of that movie.

Pan's Labyrinth. Best film I've seen for years. I want to see 3.10 to Yuma. Don't like Westerns ordinarily, but this had good reviews and Christian Bale. :P

I absolutely love Amelie. Have you seen Delicatessen? It's another french film and it's from the early 90s it's really good. Also, another great movie with Audrey Tautou in it is He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not...she is so creepy in that film but it's really good. Here's the IMDB link to it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0291579/

I thought I would start a movie thread because I always wonder about certain movies or what this line was from or is this any good.

I will start...I checked out Lucky You with Drew Barrymore from the library today but wasn't really keen on seeing it but since it was free I thought I would give it a try, any good?

I watched this movie, not too exciting for me but cute!

The last few movies I saw that I really enjoyed were 3:10 to Yuma, I am Legend, and No Country for Old Men.

I highly recommend No Country if you like the Coen brothers. I am Legend wasn't amazing but it's a decent action flick with a twist. 3:10 was just good. Christian Bale is aces in my book. He's got talent and is easy on the eyes. ;)

I can't believe I forgot to add Atonement to that list. James MacAvoy is just an amazing actor. He's just so talented and made that movie great.

I've only seen O' Brother, Where Art Thou from that list. Great movie  A friend of mine was in it, but you'd never know; he was one of the men at the KKK rally ;)

I love the bolded ones and haven't seen the others. I suspect you have good taste and I'll probably check them out.

Atonement is excellent.

"I am Legend" I found just so-so

"We are the real countries,

Not the boundaries drawn on maps,

With the names of powerful men.

That's all I've wanted -

To walk in such a place with you,

On an earth without maps."
