i just finished watching 27 Dresses a little while ago.. it was ok.. like Julie said your typical American romantic comedy...

i compare all romantic comedies to my favourite movie of all time, "While you were sleeping" and most of them don't stack up...

Yeah, I loved While you were sleeping. But I am also a big fan of the Wedding Singer. That was so funny and super cute! 51st dates is also on my list. Adam Sandler does the romantic comedy thing so well.

What happened to Sandra Bullock? I haven't seen her in anything for a while now.

The only thing I've seen her in recently was that almost horror movie, Premonition, from last year. The one where she keeps waking up and her dead husband is alive again. It wasn't very good.

She's not in those Hollywood blockbuster type movies anymore. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing.

Real love stories never have endings...

Oh, I don't know. I loved Crash, Murder by Numbers, and A Time to Kill.

My husband also forces me to include Demolition Man.

So I watched another three movies today.

Juno - 16 yr old Juno gets pregnant, decides to not abort it and finds a yuppie couple to adopt her unborn child

- Juno is so ###### annoying, she needs to STFU. She's not even funny. She's just a smart ####### teenager who thinks she knows it all. They are trying to sell this movie as independant and arthousy, but it's so not. So obviously, I was not really impressed.

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium - Molly Mahoney is the awkward and insecure manager of Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium, the strangest, most fantastic, most wonderful toy store in the world. But when Mr. Magorium, the 243 year-old eccentric who owns the store, bequeaths the store to her, a dark and ominous change begins to take over the once remarkable Emporium. (Summary from IMBD)

- So colourful and vibrant, great classical opulent soundtrack. Really sweet movie (and Natalie Portmann dresses really cool)

No Country for Old Men - Violence and mayhem ensue after a hunter stumbles upon some dead bodies, a stash of heroin and more than $2 million in cash near the Rio Grande (also from IMBD)

- It's a really good film, full of suspense. Great acting. I spent most of the time hiding under my blanket on the sofa, because I could not take the suspense - but I am a chicken.

I am still undecided what to watch next. Sweeny Todd, Bee movie, Moulin Rouge, All about Jane...hmmm...maybe I just watch Amelie for the 1000th time, as it is my favourite Sunday movie.

Saw 21 last week at the theatres!! Not worth the $11 ticket!! A good rental, but not worth forking over big bucks for!! i expected more of a fast paced movie!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Someone who agrees with me! I thought this movie kinda sucked. Well - it's not that bad, but when it gets all Oscar noms and everyone says it's great you have higher expectations.

I got 2 Days in Paris and plan on watching it this afternoon. It's so nice out I think I'll bring my laptop outside and lay out there and watch.

I saw this movie recently and really enjoyed it.
