it's not making sense.

if they were the same person, then he'd be his older version, not a split personality. it's notmaking sense.

why would he have to be the older version?? I am not saying that the evil side is when he was younger but that is how he sees the evil side of himself...

but they looked different. if they were the same they should've been played by the same person or at least people of same age, not a hot guy against an old retired man.

spoiler for No Country for old Men.... don't read if you haven't seen the movie.... you have been warned :P

ed thom and anton are the same person, sheriff was hunting himself the entire movie, he has 2 personalities....

watch the movie again, with this theory in mind, and you may be able to catch everything then

like when he pulled the car over at the beginning, the guy didn't even think about not getting out of the car to an officer out of uniform and then the creepy guy going back to crime scenes with no problems

the fact the ed thom and anton do not meet the entire film

the sheriff's rant about the way they kill cows in the diner with llewellen's wife

Really!?

I thought the movie was pretty close to the book and that wasn't in there at all - the sheriff was an old man trying to make sense of the world and understand man's inhumanity to man.

There wasn't much more to it than that. IMO.

well, I am not sure if it is true or not.. it is just what I heard... maybe the Coens decided to give their own spin to the movie... who nows...

I dunno it differs very little from the book. Cormac McCarthy doesn't do Chuck Pahlaniuk or Brett Easton Ellis endings.

We watched "Vantage Point" today.. it was okay... but there was absolutely no plot and the entire movie happens in a span of about 35 minutes at the most. Its a renter/download, folks.

Recent movies:

- Beowulf - I was sleepy. The movie was boring. Not my thing.

- Enchanted - Hubby and I had fun. The movie is a romantic comedy, but it's different from everything you've seen and it's really funny. I'd totally recommend.
