Did you all watch the Oscars?

####### no! I worked at the oscars for the govenors ball too many times that I just hate it! working like 4 days straight with 1-2hrs sleep in between can make anyone hate it! NO OSCARS! you know you have to actually get security clearance to even get on the side of the road that H&H is on! the security is nuts!

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

I was also pleased to see Marion Cottilard win for La Vie En Rose, even though I haven't seen it yet. She was so sweet.

It's a great movie, and she definitely deserved the award.

Did anyone here see JOhn Travolta's spray on hair? Oh my flippin' gawd, it looked BAD, really bad. Oh my, his wife really should have told him how awful it looked.

I watched around an hour or so, thought Steve Carell was hilarious - can't wait for Get Smart this year! :D

Did you notice that all the acting awards were picked up by non-Americans this year? British, Irish, French and Spanish. Got to be a first, I'd have thought.

Becoming Jane - started off really boring but got better....

Juno - was a really cute movie....

Blades of Glory - was actually funnier then I thought it would be.... not a great movie but it had a few really funny moments...

Catch and release - nothing special...

Martian Child - was a really sweet movie... I want to adopt a child now... :)

We saw "Vantage Point" at the weekend.

$hit $hit $hit!

I really really liked vantage point!

I thought it was boring so it was pretty much the worst for me. There was so much stuff that was never explained - not least several character development points (including what the villains plan actually was) which were left out and created weird continuity errors. And that remote control rifle thing was really ridiculous.

For a hard-boiled thriller it was deliberately PG-13 - ok to show folks blown up with explosives, but you have to cut away when a guy gets shot in the head.

It even had Saïd Taghmaoui in it - the go-to actor if you want a stereotypical arab-looking terrorist. Hell its either him or that other guy from Collateral Damage.

gone baby gone was a very good movie, i was surprised that casey affleck could carry a movie and morgan freeman is fantastic. i liked that they used people from that actual neighborhood rather than a bunch of actors too.

The Waitress was a really cute and sweet movie....

Agreed. But I never have to hear the word "pie" again.

It's pretty sad to watch when you realize that the writer/director/actress that played Dawn was murdered between filming the movie and it being released.
