Update from me:

Interview yesterday & visa approved (11 Dec)

Visa in hand this morning (12 Dec)

POE 6th Jan

Yes there are some good news. Update on me.

AOS fee paid - 12/14

DS - 3032 - Agent form sent in and received - 12/21

I have sent in the I-864

I just paid for the IV processing fee today online and will most likely send in the DS-230 on Monday once the payment shows paid and I can print out the cover page.

I think thats that last I have to do before they require my wife in Singapore to take the medical exam and ask her for interview correct?

Sorry I'm just dropping in here like this, I'm not a Dec '07 filer. I am freaked out to see so many of you pple who have waited a year already?!

Were there any problems or issues with your cases, or is this normal time line? I don't think I can wait a year for my hubby to get here, and I am just now ready to file our I-130, we have a looooooong way to go:(

Maybe I should go for K3 after all, because 1year and still waiting, my gosh....

Please tell me it is not normal to wait this long?

Hi Vareska,

If you look at the timeline it can give you some idea. Also you can look up people VJ timeline to get an idea based on country or location or the like. Its up to you on which way you want to file and you will want to way the pros and cons of each. A pro of the K-1 is that he might get here sooner, a pro of the I-130 is that he will get a green card when he gets here and won't have some of the other restrictions like work and travel. Some of our members have had delays and are just starting to make progress now but others didn't and have been with their loved ones for a while. But as I said, its a decision you will have to make yourself. Good luck. :)

Now Im concerned it will be put in ap (my luck)

Well that sucks. I certainly hope that it won't be put in AP. I would guess that since you contacted your congress critter you have a case worker that you can call if there are other issues. I really hope that there won't be any though! :)
