Ron Paul stands out for me. He is truly a different type of politician. Whenever someone throws him a question he actually answers it rather than beating around the bush as so many other politicians do. He is the only politician I can see who truly represents change and a different style of thinking.

How's he doing so far?

He's not going to get the nomination, but he will probably run as an independent or Libertarian. He may end up playing spoiler for someone, ala Ross Perot. He's just not polished enough to get the votes, which is actually why I'm going to vote for him. He's not the typical presidential tool.

All you need is a modest house in a modest neighborhood

In a modest town where honest people dwell

Well the Dem's choices suck too. You have Hillary who is about as appealing as contracting Typhoid fever, and who wants to hand out my tax dollars like they are Christmas presents. Gag me!

Or Barack Obama who speaks well, but doesn't have a clue!

Or John Edwards who sounds so angry that he may burn down the White House. Just to get back at the rich....wait isn't he rich? Can you say schizophrenic.

John Edwards is so poor that he has the largest house in his county.

Ron Paul is not your usual politician so he is not getting the support he deserves. He is certainly not your stereotypical BS spinning, "we need change bla bla bla" aka tell you want you want to hear style of politician. I don't agree with all of his ideas but I really respect and enjoy his passion for what he believes in. As well as his obvious true love for this nation and its people.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
