My income is approximately 18k to 19k annually. My small business grosses a little over 50k annually. Can i have my woman? There is only me and there will only be her. No kids involved. What info. is not necessary on the I-134 because of my income? I have read where some people have written that bank acc. info., property assets, stocks, bonds, etc. are not needed on this form if you make x amount of dollars. Will i be able to leave this info. off of this form?

We did not provide any other financial information on our I-134. As long as you make more than the required amount on the Poverty Guidelines, you will be fine.

Here's a link to the 2007 poverty guidelines as put out by the USCIS. I hope it works, if not copy and paste it into your browser's address window.

Info on Visa Journey regarding affidavit of support:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;page=support

It looks like your annual income will squeak over the top for a household of 2. You count your fiance as one and yourself as one so you need to make over $17,112 per year. You said it's just the 2 of you right? I didn't see anything on 2008 guidelines but I'm sure they'll be slightly different.

If I were you just to be on the safe side I'd list assets and possibly get a co-sponsor. If the poverty guidelines go up a smidge you're gonna be close. I know from past experience (parents) that being a business owner makes everything more difficult to prove when you want to get loans etc... and affidavit of support is probably no exception to that.

I'm sure someone more experienced here will also chime in :) .

Good Luck!!

Meeting minimum requirements provides no assurance of success. If you have assets to show, it would help. If not, yes, you can skip all those questions.
