To refund or not?

hi guys!

i've got a round trip ticket when i came here in the US as a tourist last june. i have intentions of going back home but my then boyfriend asked me to marry him and i agreed. we got married last nov. my question is, if i refund my plane ticket sometime soon(the one i would have used to go home and was valid till dec 9), would it have a negative effect on me during the AOS interview?

Your itinerary from airline will prove this as well as a copy of the tickets before getting the refund. I would not waste the $$ not refunding them.
