Update, Tues 4:32 pm: The students in Henderson Co. have been released from school. The North Posey Mt. Carmel basketball game has been canceled.

Update, Tues 4:30 pm: A Funnel cloud is being reported crossing Highway 41 heading toward the McCutchanville area. Flooding is also being reported along Baseline Rd.

Update, Tues 4:20 pm: Ham operator reports from Vanderburgh Co. EMA report a funnel cloud near Central High School in Evansville. Take cover if you are in this area.

Update, Tues 4:15 pm: Golf ball sized hail has been reported at the University of Southern Indiana.

Update, Tues 4:10 pm: Heavy rains and lightning along with strong wind gusts have been reported. There have been unconfirmed tornado reports out of the Hovey Lake area of Posey County, but Posey Co. dispatch is not reporting anything on that at this time.

The tornado we had hit 3 miles from me was listed as a EF-3 catagory. Estimated wind speed 130-140 MPH. The damage that was done, after seeing it, you cant even wrap your head around what you are seeing. Thank God, no one was killed, only minor injuries. I will try and post links to the photos.

Crazy weather! Two years ago we had a hellofa tornado here. Pretty much everyone around here had some sort of damage. Everyone in my neighborhood had some sort of structural damage to their homes and vehicles. I had over $8500.00 on my car alone! It was a mess. I've grown up being in tornados, but that one, even though it wasn't the worst, has totally freaked me out. Even last night my 13 yr old son was completely freaked out and the tornados had left our area, it was just raining hard. Every time he heard "tornado" on the radio or T.V he freaked.

when I got home there was a massive tree branch blocking the driveway...I drove into the yard and then I got out and moved it. it was huge it took some welly to move it. our weather radio is going nuts it's driving me crazy I want to unplug it
