Kenosha county where my sister lives has reported several houses leveled. Last we heard from her, she was heading to the basement.

I saw Indiana once...it was flat.

Only Northern Indiana is, Southern Indiana is quite hilly and full of trees. Very pretty.

Seriously, look at the radar for 60435. They just said my town is in the path of a tornado. Now, I don't scare easily. I have lived in 'tornado alley' all my life. I am used to having a basement tho. I am in a house now on a concrete slab, no basement to go to. So, is the bathroom a good idea? My car? I have 40 min to get ready for this.

any neighbors have one? if not, go to a tornado shelter. your bathroom ain't worth squat.

It said on the news this morning there were 2 dead from a tornado in Missouri. We had incredible thunderstorms and lightning most of the night. The winds were crazy.

O RLY. So far, we have gotten a few sprinkles, but the clouds are still pretty broken. Nothing organized. Weird how different the weather can be only a few miles away. Though, I am sure I will eat these words at some point.

We almost always get it first here in Greencastle. Makes it fun when I'm working in Indy....I get to experience it here and then on the road to Indy as it follows me.

lol. Everyone does. Greenfield, Greenwood, Greensburg, or one of the other "Green"s in Indiana.

Oddly enough, I used to be half-owner of a bike shop in Greenfield. Makes it even more confusing. lol

I agree. We went through the southern part of Indiana on our long road trip to MO, CO and NE... very pretty!

I hope everyone else came out ok. I was very surprised to hear about the tornado touchdown on the news this morning. Didn't get a chance to get more details as we were rushing out of the door by then.
