My Fiance is from B'lore but I got my NVC Letter stating that she would get her Interview in New Delhi Embassy, whats up with that, does anybody has a clue?

Does Delhi send Packet 3 and Packet 4 or just Packet 4 ?

Can she still get her Medical done in Chennai ?

Can she still submit her documents at B'lore VFS office ?

Whats in Packet 3 ?

I sent the same questions to delhi and chennai, just want to see if any one here know any better.

I am also in a sort of same boat. I belong to Hyderabad, but requested for New Delhi in I129F since I wasn't aware that Chennai can also be chosen. So if possible check your I129F to see which consulate you must have mentioned.

New Delhi issues packet 3. But more often, beneficiaries collect the blank forms (DS etc) without waiting for the Consulate to send them. This way they can save time (as pointed out in some of the discussion threads) and result in quicker issuance of packet4/interview date.

Some of the members have opined that medicals can be done at Chennai when I put in a similar question. Best bet would be to talk to Consulate and confirm this.

Packet3 sample you will find if you google for it. I picked it from Mumbai consulate site (I am sorry, I couldn't recall the URL).

Lastly there are good and experienced senior VJ members around. Hold on for some more time to get more comprehensive info.

I sent a request to New Delhi to forward my petition to Chennai and its been done.

This is quite interesting. Could you please detail your request letter so that we can also follow the same procedure? I am tired of this waiting game and am also thinking about transferring it to Chennai.

Thanks

Manish, you can call yourself lucky if you get interview date in Feb! Usually it takes 2 months.

I cant believe how fast Delhi is sending out interview dates.. maybe we got lucky and they switched the Visa person in Charge(or whatever their title is)... I hear they move posts every 1-2 yrs...
