Anyways, I did get petition approval already BUT i'd be waiting for all of you guys before going for AOS, some, if not all of you CSC filers might even apply for AOS earlier than me ^_^
How come? Is this because you're not getting married until October? I hope there's no problems!
Does it take longer for your interviews to come through?

Some who got approval February already have interview scheds for March, April & May so i guess we might have our interview sched by May or June so it is not really the interview. It is more because of what Rachel said, it's because we won't be getting married til October. We also won't be going there until August even if we'd get the visa by June or July.

This is a very expensive process for us, especially since there would be 3 of us applying for visa and paying also for the medical fee plus all the other expenses associated with the process. So we do need to save up some more and I also need to make sure that everything here will be in place and in order before I leave. But everything is fine. :)

Thanks Alot for your answer, i really needed it!!!! (F)

Pls do keep us posted, your experience will be a great help to others who will be facing the same dilemma. And again, pls do talk with your fiance. He needs to be totally open with you coz you might be asked about his past on your interview, you would need to know how to reply.

Everything will be ok, just stay strong and keep the faith. I wish you all the best.hugs3.gif

Ah, understood! Well, I'm really hoping that Alex and I can have an October wedding, too - so hopefully you'll have me filing around the same time as you at least!

I fully understand about the expenses - I'd be doing the exact same thing in your shoes.

Herolmounia - I was going to reply but dbears has you covered. Seriously, take her advice and I really hope that your fiancé isn't hiding anything from you. Good luck!

Claim it and believe that it has already come true, never allow the seed of doubt to seep in and what you desire most will surely come true.

You will have it in time Saffyre.... very very soon.

We want CSC to get cranking for you too ... I'll be hanging around here to cheer you folks on. Here we sit frustrated with weeks of waiting, knowing you likely have to endure months. My fingers are crossed for all of us ... but I know that we will all get them when we are supposed to.

Of course .... I might just scream, jump up & down and who knows what else if I get mine before the end of March .... Stephen will get to see me be like a little kid at the candy store

It's the waiting, waiting for that moment when you know everything is so much closer to beginning ... where you can be in the same place, and just be :) There's a song "Just Be" by DJ Tiesto (never heard it before Stephen) but it's an absolutely amazing track ... and it's all about just being ... which we are all hoping & waiting for ... and we will all get to that point ........... soon!

Hope everyone is having a fabulous Wednesday!

Thank you, Amanda. :)

Wednesday is moving along nicely - can't wait for the five-day weekend (our company always has the Tuesday after a bank holiday Monday off).

My feelings on the whole visa process come in waves. Sometimes I'm very calm and feel certain that I can wait months and that perhaps it's best to delay things as long as possible so that we may have more money saved up. Sometimes I am very panicked - is this really happening? How on earth am I going to find time to sell my belongings, pack, sort out what I am going to need immediately and what can be put into storage, gain my driver's license (haven't even booked lessons!), organise a wedding, get all of my vaccinations and attend an interview? It feels like I will never manage to actually leave - although of course in a year's time I expect I shall look back on this post and laugh. Finally, sometimes I am really anxious - can't wait to be married, don't want to be apart - of course I am always missing Alex, but at some times it is easier to cope with than at others.

Still, no matter what mood I am in VJ is here - and all of you guys are seriously great.

Wow this board has been active the past 24 hours. I have enjoyed reading all of the posts. DBEARS...congrats! You deserve it, especially after all the cheerleading you have done for the rest of us. Surely an October wedding is in sight now! After we received NOA2 I breathed a deep sigh of relief because I took the risk of planning our wedding and making arrangements without approval in hand. While we aren't quite completely done with the immigration process yet, at least the end is in sight and we still have over 7 months till the wedding.

Aidan and I are still waiting on packet 3, but I imagine we will be one of the "early bird" interviews as we will have all info ready very soon (except I need to get around to filing my 2007 return...I owe this year so I'm waiting and borrowing against the government this time). I suppose I could make a copy of my return for his interview and just wait and file on the 15th. I have requested my IRS transcripts for the other years since that to me is easier.

I hope DBEARS is the first of many CSC approvals for this group!

I feel almost the same! Sometimes very calm, feeling that even if it takes long, everything's fine, we're used to it. and then, I'm never going to have enough time to do everything I have to do before I leave!

Thank you very much smashrox (F)

I wish I am indeed a CSC january filer who got approved, at least it would have meant all the other january CSC filers are in line already.... but as it is, I am a VSC filer, it's probably not very obvious because I didn't get a superfast record breaking approval :) but I still feel very very lucky to get approved in less than two months..... but it still breaks my heart to see fellow January VSC filers and those who filed months before me still waiting to be approved and all the CSC filers still waiting a few more weeks to a few months longer. :(
