Happy Saturday Y'all!

It is snowing, raining, cold and wet here and I am still reeling with happiness! I went out will "the girls" last night to celebrate!

I wish I knew more people - I have called everyone I know but I still want to tell more people!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend and Monday will bring more APPROVAL messages!

Good you went out and celebrated!!! :) It's soooo cool that you got your approval ... I imagine you'd love to shout it from the top of a mountain

The weather here today was nice - almost in the 70s and sunny ... it gets cold here, but we don't get snow all that often, which is a good thing, most southerners don't know how to drive in it!!!

PS - Don't forget to update your timeline :)

you should put yesterday as your NOA 2 approval date... let's see your name up there on Igor's list and those of us still waiting will also move one step up on that list

btw, I already included your name of the lucky January VSC filer lottery winner. click HERE.

You lucky girl. I'm envious but I am happy for you.

I really hope you and Amanda get approved soon, dbears! It must be even more frustrating when you're a Vermont filer and seeing all these approvals!

Thanks for the support!!! My patience is wearing so thin right now. Between not thinking about seeing him in less than 2 weeks (which I try not to think about, because it only makes the days drag on further) and being on pins and needles hoping for the NOA2 ... I'm just a little  Don't you worry though, I plan on being around for those who will need the support -- including all of the CSC applicants!!!

I think back to after Christmas when I took him to the airport, the day before I took him, I cried, because I knew he was leaving the next day. Not that he understood what I was crying about, at least not then. Then we drove up to Washington, DC (was cheaper and less flight time to fly out DC, rather than Raleigh). And he hates flying ... and I was strong for him because of that, and I didn't get upset at all and I even managed to drive the 5 hours back home without getting upset. And then a few days later he said I still don't understand why you didn't get upset at the airport. We said goodbye and you just turned around and walked away. And I told him I did it for him, so that it wouldn't be harder on him, and that I had cried the day before that ... and then he said, oh, now I understand why you were crying that day ... Duh!!! Anyhow, my point of all of this, I've been strong through all of this, as we all know we have to be, but damnit, my strength is wearing out today. I can't even repeat what I called the USCIS ... hee hee, and when he heard me say it, he said, make sure you don't call them, that might get you into some serious trouble  Not that I would even think about calling them, because there is nothing to call them over!!!

And to think, here I sit complaining, and it's only been one month since I filed the paperwork, and there are other people here, waiting 6+ months. And then don't add in the beating up of myself for feeling a little weak! This process just makes you feel confused from time to time.

Thanks so much Rachel.hugs3.gif I am still ok as of now. I'm positive we will get the approval & visa before school year starts in North Carolina. we both want my 2 kids to get there in time for the start of school.

I just hope and pray that those who have been waiting longer will get approved soon and that CSC will catch up soon. It is just not right that on top of the longer waiting period, you CSC filers will still go through the emotional roller coaster of seeing people within your timelines get their approvals earlier a month or two from now. for VSC fielrs, its emotional roller coaster right away.

Well, everything is in God's mighty hands. He will never be late nor too early, God's time is always the PERFECT TIME.

God speed to us all.

My heart goes out to you, not to mention my prayers...

I know exactly what you mean, Amanda. When I took Darren back to the airport, I tried not to cry because I didn't want another scene like the first time we were separated (he was on one side of the partition, I was on the other, we couldn't touch and we were both crying); that was so emotional. He didn't want to go through that again, so when we separated this time, once he went through the screening queue, I walked away (cried all the way back to the car, though); that was the hardest thing I have ever done...

Both times, we had no idea when we were going to see each other again (we planned things after, money has been tight for both of us)...but there is silver lining for this visit (at the end of the month)...the next time we reunite, it will be for good...that's what we focus on now, the permanent reunion...

I hope everyone gets their NOA2's this week; I know it's a bit of a pipedream, but I have hope!!!
