he's coming in two weeks i'm wondering if the papers will get to him before he leaves so he can fill him out? and how long after he fills them out that they schedual an interview cause hes leaving april 5th, would the interview be that soonnnn??

ah! I think I'll just concentrate on being happy!!! hehehehe for today anyway then i'll start worrying about other things hehe cause I don't know waht to do at all after this step! lol

Congratulations Susie! Hey, you were approved quickly even if they did lose your cheque! I'm not sure about the answer to your question - I think I'd be tempted to wait to send Packet 3 back until after he's back in the UK.

Has anyone taken notice what countries the SO are from? Do you think that matters - I mean I have heard it doesnt really matter but I can't help but think it does.

Yes! March would be great... my daughter's birthday is the 20th so it would be a great gift for her. She misses Louis as much as I do and wants him for her birthday!

I share in your joy. One side note. They've changed the way they are doing the police records request in the UK. My baby just found out today that not only did they increase the fee but he has to go through a ton more hoops just to get the blasted thing!

I keep seeing the problems people have with getting police records and I feel like we have done something wrong. I thought we needed it sooner so I already sent Louis to get his. It cost $2 and took 1 week! I guess it is just the benefit of a tiny island!

He should probably order it as soon as possible...took Darren a few weeks to get his back...but we ordered it a while ago..

And today, I got the affadavit of support notarised; this week, I also got my employer letter...Now, we're just waiting for Packet 3...

Don't have the dress yet ... nor his kilt. Yes, we are doing a traditional Scottish wedding (kilts, bagpipes, and all). Actually having the ceremony on a terrace overlooking a lake, and the reception on the same property that night (open bar party!! wooohoo!). I think we've managed to get all the details figured out for the reception, and we just have the vows and scottish traditions to figure out for the actual ceremony. I looked at dresses online, but I think I'll hit the actual shops in April/May.
