Thanks to all of you...it certainly is reassuring to have you all in my corner with this...and when this is all said and done, I will try to be understanding for the newbies since I know what it is like to be there (I won't forget!)...

10/9/10 - Sent I-751 and started the fresh hell that is ROC

10/14/10 - NOA1 for ROC

10/29/10 - received appointment for Biometrics

11/22/10 - Biometrics appointment

Currently: Living blissfully with my Essex lad...

Wow! There sure was a lot of touching going on! We were touched on Sunday as well.

Good luck to us all! :dance:

If I'm reading the timelines correctly, there are 63 of us going through CSC. How many of you guys are getting the next set of paperwork (I-134, tax forms, etc) ready? Personally, I am taking a break for awhile and maybe will wait until April or May.

Adjustment of Status

I-485, I-131, I-765 sent: 9/18

NOAs for forms - all rec'd 10/24

Biometrics appt letter - rec'd 11/01; walk-in 11/12

I'm doing National Boards for teaching, so I think I'll wait until April (after my portfolio is due) to start getting those forms together...

Can't believe I'm doing both of these things at the same time!

I'm waiting too.

I took a break after the first set of paperwork. Last week, I started looking at the documents we'll have to file next (DS-156, I-134, ..) but without doing anything. I just looked at them to see if there were things I didn't understand. Then I'll think of all the evidences/documents I will need at the interview. And then, a little later, I'll tell my US fiance everything he has to file, to get notarized and to gather. But that's going to wait several weeks/months. It's not as if our petition was going to be approved next month :P

We're already seeing december approvals, it is not impossible for January filers to start getting approval before March ends, i am even very positive that there will be January approval by March... at least for those who filed at VSC.

For those who filed at CSC, we will be praying that CSC will soon catch up. At least they are already working on some october filers.

At any rate, I wish for us all to have speedy journey.

I was talking for CSC filers only.

Yes, some VSC filers might receive their NOA2 in a month, but I doubt that will be the case for CSC. Hopefully though they will start going fast again (like they did 2 weeks ago) and we won't have to wait 6 months either.

How is everyone doing on this fine Mon...erm..Tuesday...

That's what you get for giving me Monday off...lose complete track of days!!!

Still feels like Monday...but I won't have to work tomorrow night, so it's all good (I work Monday & Tuesday teaching high school credit Social Studies)...

Funny story about my job...I teach American History and guess what unit we're working on now...IMMIGRATION!!! I'm looking at it from a completely different perspective this year!!!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Returned from a very brief trip to Ireland late Monday to see Aidan. I finally was able to catch up on the past couple of days' posts. I checked and still no touches on our application. I am hoping that we are one of those that will be dormant for months and then magically be approved. Hope you all are having a great week!
