Don't worry Miri, that's what it said on my wife's biometrics NOA too and look how fast it went for us. Of course this all depends on how much of a backlog your local field office has and the FBI name check but just wanted to give you some hope that it can take a much shorter time then what they list!

Hi,

Just wanted to start a special topic for the VSC.

It is not the worst regarding the processing time... but not the best either.

Sent N400 on 11/19/07

Received at the VSC 11/22/07

Priority date 11/23/07

Check cashed 12/20/07

Notice from the VSC 12/26/07

Now if some of you have info regarding the waiting time for the NY office to receive the Bio and interview letter, that would be greatly appreciated. Also do we get sworn the same day? if not how long do we have to wait?

My experience is that it depends a lot on your application and background, I have been pretty lucky in the past with my GC filing... so I hope for the best.

For those who did not received their notice check the Latest Receipt Situations at Service Centers:

Hope it will help some of you stuck with the EVIL VSC

Bye!

interesting im from nyc too and have filed around ur date also..did you get the IL yet?
