Appointment: 1:00pm

Train to Victoria station, arrived at Victoria at 12:20, went to the tube. Took Victoria line to Green Park, changed trains to Jubilee Line to Bond St. Got to Bond St station around 12:35. I had memorized the street names from looking at Google maps, plus i like a bit of a challenge anyway, and i had time to spare if i did get lost.

Anyway, it was so easy... exit Bond St. station, cross Oxford St. and go left to the very next right turn and go up it (James St.), couple of blocks up, turn right again on Hines St (something like that)...i know it began with an H. lol then its 1 block onwards from thereand its right on the corner. Dont look for a Medical Building, or a hospital type of place. It actually is a bunch of flats, with one of them being the Knightsbridge Doctors. (Flat 4) Just push the buzzer, and they'll let you in.

...the OP went there...yesterday.

Both locations are Knightsbridge doctors, but only the ones at Bentinck Mansions do the immigrations medicals.

Yeah, PM'd Ewok, but so far nothing. Maybe he just doesnt think i'm worthy of a pin! lol, plus Ewok seems to be more in charge of IR/CR 1 section. Not the UK forum... oh well... not a big deal.

There are already two pinned threads regarding medicals.

Isn't it better to just research recent threads about the experience? Or add the new experiences to the existing threads? The exam process is a bit fluid - it changes whenever providers are changed, etc. Reading info from the pinned threads probably won't get you the best and most recent advice.

JMHO.

Only curious about pinning as a couple of people thought i should, plus, the ones already pinned are ancient! - Feb 2006... things have changed since them! Obviously every exam is different for everyone, but it gives them an idea on what they might expect.

Once inside, there are 2 windows. The lady will ask you for Passport, Medical Questionnaire, and a photo. (make sure its got a white background... a lady who was waiting with me got told to retake the photos cos she had a dark background.) and if you have vaccination records, you give them in aswell. (i didn't)

I'm curious - what would suffice for medical records? We have a letter from Andrew's Dr saying what vaccinations they know of him already having and a booklet of his shots as a kid.

Did they mention that one for chicken pox thats on the embassy website thats not available in the UK?

Any records from your doctor should do... not having any vaccinations before, i just told them i have no medical records, so im not too sure about what they are expecting.

As far as Chicken Pox, the lady who gave me the vaccinations simply asked if i had had Chicken Pox, i said YES, and that was enough for her. She didnt need proof for it or anything. Even if you haven't the shot for Chicken Pox, it isn't even available in the UK anyway.
