I applied for both I130 and I129F and my wife recieved her K-3 visa which she used to come here. After she got here, her I130 petition was approved.

What do I do now?

Thanks

You file to adjust her status to permanent resident and for EAD if she wants to work before receiving the green card. See the AOS guide and AOS forum.

Thanks for the quick reply. Does my wife need an EAD to get a social security number? She doesn't really need to work now, but she wants to go to school which requires an SSN.

YES  K-3 is not work authorized, and SSA will only issue SSN to people who ARE work authorized. EAD OR Green-card is work authorization.

File I-485, check "A" on the form based on approved relitive petition, and atach a copy of I-130 NOA2 letter. and file form I-765 for EAD in same envelope as the I-485 and indicate on the I-765 (c )(9 ) based on "pending I-485". Send everything to the Chicago address used by the I-485.
