I think it is good news, sounds like an update. At least you know that they are working on it and hopefully he will be with you soon.

To Blessed to be stressed:) I realize that all things have a purpose and a time.....have faith and the Lord Almighty will provide... when the time is right, he NEVER fails!

Wow! They are actually providing information. That's a huge plus. Perhaps they made a mistake and hired someone efficient. Don't worry, they will prompty and expeditiously be fired. :P:jest:

Ok, I'll stop being sarcastic. I think it's good that they are at least providing an update to you, although it doesn't say much, it requires them to have looked at your case to send out the letter. Keep the faith girl.

Think it is a good response GOD will make it great! Think it a negative response the devil will relish with joy!

Congratulations on some sort of contact with the embassy. Just having the embassy acknowledge you exist is always a start.

They sent you a letter telling you to stop writing them? Wow!

I know everyone has a job to do, but they have to take a moment to realize that they are dealing with people's lives here. It's a sensitive area of a person's life trying to be reunited with a family member. The way they provide "service" is so callous and insensitive.

You will stop writing.....as soon as they give you the bloody visa!
