it seems now with the bush administration cutting back on all kind of costs including the basic one of health care for poor and needy children in the usa by the way this is as about as low as any president can go with this in mind i am sure that he has instructed USCIS not to issue visas to anyone who is on SSA OR SSI because their minor children and spouse would qualify for benefits make sense ??thanks joe

Is this a question?

The common sense answer is that if you petition for a relative to immigrate to the US, you must be able to support them/ and or they must be able to support themselves when they are eligible to work.

Minor children born abroad to US citizens do not need a visa to enter the US and therefore qualify to any benefits or entitlements offered to US citizens.

Right, If you are petitioning for a spouse or fiance the financial requirements have been in place since before any Bush was President. This is a forum about your visa journey, not politics.
